Custodian Training Day

This training day is designed for all the workers who are required to attend the annual training sessions for Pesticide Applicator Safety, IPM, Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control, Heat Illness Prevention, Hazardous Materials Business Plan and Asbestos Awareness.

All employees performing maintenance, custodial, and grounds/gardener duties are encouraged to attend this important required training.

Here are the topics to be covered

8-8:30 a.m.            

• Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control  - Annual Training is required

8:30-9 a.m.

• Hazardous Materials Business Plan Emergency response procedures, handing Hazardous Waste and Universal Waste. Annual Training is required.

9:00-11:00 a.m.

•  Pesticide Applicator Safety and DPR 102 (Practical Pest Management for Maintenance/Grounds/Custodial)
• Heat Illness Prevention - Annual Training is required 

11:00-11:30 a.m. LUNCH BREAK

11:30-12:40 p.m.

• Asbestos Awareness-Annual Training is required.

12:40-1:30 p.m.     

• Mandated Reporter- Annual Training is required for all employees

1:30 p.m.

• Utility Cart Operator Certification - Annual Training is required. You must have your valid Driver's License to be certified.
